For a small shop doing product customization, 20W is a great starting point. You can always rent time on a bigger machine for occasional heavy jobs.

How to Know Which Scenario You Belong To

If you’re still unsure, it comes down to three questions:

  3. What’s your realistic first-year budget? If you can’t comfortably afford the full setup (machine + cooling + ventilation + software), keep saving. It’s better to wait six months than to buy something that can’t handle your workload.
